Over the past year and a half or so, I’ve been eagerly studying my face for signs of hairs growing. I was ecstatic when the first stubbles popped up, and each time I shaved I noted the expanding territory of these dark hairs. Then it got to the point where I had a thought:
What if I don’t shave?
I have stubbles sprouting on my chin, neck, and jawline. I just might have enough to have a descent beard.
So two weeks ago I stopped shaving. I let the hairs grow, daily stroking them to feel their progress. I couldn’t wait to see what this potential beard would look like.
After two weeks, with hairs 5-6 mm long, this is the result:
Not quite what I was hoping for. I definitely have a sparse orchard as opposed to a thicket for descent beard growing. I’m surprised at how soft these hairs are, but it’s still not enough. So it’s back to shaving I go. Drat.
